Children’s Advocacy Center of Smith County is hosting their 5th annual Bling-O Designer Purse Bingo Event on Tuesday, September 11, at The Cascades Golf and Country Club in Tyler with doors opening at 6:00 PM. Through this event, Children’s Advocacy Center hosts 700 women for a ladies-night-out of Bingo played for designer purses. Net proceeds from Bling-O support the children of Smith County and their protective caregivers who have been affected by physical and sexual abuse or those who may have witnessed a crime.

“The event will include 15 rounds of bingo, a silent auction, as well as many additional games, a chance drawing and some special 5th anniversary surprises,” said Jennifer Walsh, who co-chairs the 2018 event with Holli Shull. “The 2017 event sold out quickly with close to 700 people in attendance.”

Sponsorships and tables are now available and spaces are quickly filling up. Reservations may be made by visiting cacsmithcounty.org or calling Kaylen Clakley at 903-533-1880. The Children’s Advocacy Center is dedicated to child victims of physical and sexual abuse and strives to reduce trauma through a unified effort that facilitates thorough investigations, effective prosecutions and the healing of children and their families.
