Child-friendly, trauma-focused therapy
Child abuse victims don’t only need justice—they need healing & hope. And our full-time, licensed, and board-certified mental health professionals and master’s level psychology student interns are here to help.
Why Is Therapy Necessary?
Abuse can rewire a child’s brain, victimizing them all over again.
And these structural & chemical changes can lead to:
Persistent fear
Anxiety & depression
Decreased impulse control
Delayed developmental growth
Impaired ability to regulate stress
Difficulty navigating social interactions
Post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD)
Weakened response to positive feedback
How Do We Approach Therapy?
Our trauma-focused therapy is proven to help victims of child abuse and their families find healing, hope, and restoration.
Our professional therapists and master’s level interns are skilled in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment that has freed child abuse victims and their families from many of the psychological, behavioral, and emotional shackles of abuse.
