Holiday of Hope 2024
Many of our families can’t afford new toys, clothes, or basic necessities. And they need your help.
While we celebrate Christmas with loved ones and enjoy the magic of the season, many of the protective caregivers we serve cannot provide this for their children. Trying to juggle buying gifts or necessities with the reality of buying groceries or paying other bills, makes the holidays a stressful time.
From this need, our Holiday of Hope program was born to connect our families with caring sponsors in the community who bring the joy of Christmas into their home.
Generous people like you ensure children and their families who have experienced the unthinkable will wake up Christmas morning to gifts and much-needed items that they would not otherwise receive!
How It Works
The process is easy. The impact is huge.
If the answer is yes, then the next step is to send an email letting us know how many children you would like to sponsor and any specific requests you may have regarding the age and/or gender of the children. Once we receive your information, we will reach out to confirm your participation as a sponsor and your assigned family’s wish list and information will be sent to you by the beginning of November.
Our Family Advocates and Therapists have screened the families to identify those with the greatest needs, and the gifts are only for the immediate family and do not include any for the alleged perpetrators of abuse.
We are privileged to provide life-changing services for our families who are working towards healing and are grateful for your willingness to share the joy of Christmas with those who need it the most.
Email us the following information:
Your name, phone number, mailing address, the number of children you would like to sponsor, and any specific requests you may have regarding the age and/or gender of the children.
Receive your family's wishlist from us in November
We will send your family’s wishlist to you by the beginning of November. The lists are simple with a few items selected by each child in the family. You are welcome to use this list as a guide, but please do not feel obligated to purchase everything on it.
Drop off your gifts (unwrapped) at the CAC from Nov 25th-27th or Dec 2nd-6th.
We ask that the gifts come unwrapped as we will provide the materials for the caregivers to wrap each gift.
