April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Join CACSC throughout the month, as we seek to empower all of Smith County to get involved in protecting our children. Stay tuned for updates! The effects of child abuse are community-wide, so the solution also requires each member of a community to play a role and make it our job to promote prevention and awareness, putting an end to child abuse. If you are a business interested in partnering with us during April, contact our Communications Coordinator, Lexington, at [email protected].
Want to make a statement?
Yard signs are now available. Take one home from the Spring Luncheon or email our Communications Coordinator, Lexington, at [email protected] to schedule a pick-up. By placing this sign in your yard or in front of your business, you spread awareness and support the efforts of child abuse prevention. It’s time to cover Smith County with signs of hope!
Ways to get involved all month long:
Moss Flower Shop is featuring a stunning bouquet of white roses and blue delphinium for the month of April, utilizing the symbolic colors and pinwheel for child abuse prevention and benefitting CACSC. The blue pinwheel points to the whimsy and innocence that childhood should include. It denotes playfulness, joy, and illustrates the positive cycle of love and support in a child’s life. Let hope blossom with every purchase of a CACSC bouquet. Order yours here!
Crema Coffee Co. is brewing a CACSC drink throughout April. Grab our signature dulce de leche and toffee nut iced latte topped with a cookie butter cold foam. Visit either location or order online! A portion of the proceeds benefit CACSC. Shopping locally and bringing hope to kids in our community? What a deal!
Lauren Ferrell Designs brings life-change through beautiful pieces. What sta rted as a hobby turned into a retail training and business development in countries such as Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Based in Tyler, this store is a constant source of generosity, and now CACSC gets to be a beneficiary. Purchase a pair of blue earrings in April to promote awareness and support the work that happens at the Center. More details to come!
